ENGINEERING AND FABRICATION
About Us
FOUNDER: ED BRUCE
Ed is a mechanical engineer and licensed metal fabricator, he has always had an interest in designing and working with metal.
He designed and created his first waterwheel in 2002 at the age of 15 to allow his parents to pump water up to their house from the river on their property. From here he went on to refine his waterwheel design, creating a further two waterwheels in the years to come.
After leaving school he went on to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wollongong. Throughout his time at university he enjoyed designing and creating a range of bicycles and other products.
After graduating in 2010 Ed went on to work with several companies designing locomotives for countries across the world. His time with EDI Rail and Electromotive Diesel has given Ed invaluable experience with 3D modelling and FEA and further refined his design skills.
In 2017 Ed decided to take the plunge and start his own business while he gained his metal fabrication qualifications.
He continues to develop his fabrication and design skills and loves a new challenge.
